After the recent heat we decided to get the AC unit for our little ones heat as quite rightly he was looking at us like we were stupid trying to get him down for a nap in 30 degree heat! It's very quiet when on low setting &I like that on low setting the blue light is hidden. I can have this on overnight, forget it's there, wake in the morning with a clear nose in the hayfever season.
