I've used many presure cookers , the 6l beats all the other I've used in the past. Very easy to use , love the delay start the keep warm function plenty of preset options , so that good if you have never used one before. Also you can manually set your own cooking time. I would certainly recommend 100% this product 👌.
I was worried when I received this pressure cooker that the sealing knob was very loose - it's supposed to be like that!
It also took ages for the pressure switch to rise and lock the lid the first time i used it, but it's been fine ever since.
I love it now!
So quick and easy to make a variety of great meals!
The saute function is excellent too.
And it's really really easy to clean.
I used to be a huge fan of my slow cooker, but this may have surpassed it as my favourite cooking item!
Great value for money.
When I first set about using this I checked the instruction booklet as I thought this would be for the good but I was even more confused after that … so it was more trial and error to see what happened. Fortunately, I’ve used pressure cookers and slow cookers many times before and have a rough idea of the basics of using one.
This is a 6 litre container which is great for most sized families out there.
It’s not only a pressure cooker, it steams, warms, sautés and is also a yogurt maker. Although I’ve only used it as a steamer and slow cooker, plus to keep food warm for a while and have not been disappointed in how it’s worked so far.
It is quite heavy, even without the food inside, but once it’s on the worktop there’s only the central pot which needs moving when you need to clean it.
All the controls are on the front of the cooker and are pretty easy to get your head around, with so many options to choose from.
The lid twists on with a confident grip, giving you a little reassurance that the lid’s not going to pop off when the pressure gets too much. The pressure valve works well too, releasing pressure when it needs to, which is what you need really.
I have to say that the main negative about this is the booklet itself. the booklet is a waste of paper as it’s about as useful as a glass hammer and rubber nail. There’s a bit in it which can scare the pants off the bravest of heroes when it mentions fire hazards, electrocution and even death of you use this cooker wrong.
In all, a fine slow/pressure cooker which may well save money on using your normal oven and does a good job in cooking your food. Once you’ve used this a few times, you’ll realise how useful and easy this is.
